This project was an exploration of culture through portraiture. Only by studing varied subjects can you develop a stronger awarenes of facial anatomy.

Expression though line gesture and colour experiment using the monoprinting technique. For sadness the lines are cross-hatch with longer strokes to enphasise melting away which contrasts with red whose lines are more wild and instinctive.
